And the Journey Begins

So the bags are packed and ready to go. Ryan is taking us to the airport and he was on time. ????????????????

Got to the airport at 9:45 and were greeted by these happy faces. Tim and Jill Cook and Linda Varady and Jacki Hopkins.

Brian And Sharon Gardiner joined us about 15 minutes later and ourhappy group of eight we’re ready to board.

Our flight was delayed by about 30 minutes but finally we got on and had an easy flight to Charlotte, North Carolina.

This is the first blue sky we’ve seen in a few days. Flying above the clouds is always part of the trip that I like the most. So we arrived in Charlotte and then had lunch at Chick-fil-A’s and will soon be boarding to go back up north to Newark, New Jersey. I will take the crazy flying schedule because we saved $1000 on each ticket by doing it this way.

The three Grammies are already getting in trouble

Landed in Newark NJ and then had to go through another 45 minute process to get through a different security and TSA. Ready to put my feet up.

So we are on the flight to go across the big pond and I will check in with y’all tomorrow.
